Waitlist
Use this page when the reader needs the guest-facing waitlist workflow for a time slot that is already unavailable.
Who this is for
- guests or members trying to preserve a chance at a fully booked time slot
- operators explaining what the public waitlist page does and does not guarantee
Navigation
- waitlist management page:
/waitlist
How this usually starts
The guest often encounters the waitlist option while trying to book a slot that is already full. If waitlist is enabled for that tenant and workflow, they can join the queue for that slot.
Standard flow
- encounter an unavailable slot in the booking flow
- join the waitlist if the tenant allows it
- authenticate if required
- review waitlist entries on
/waitlist - remove an entry if it is no longer needed
What the guest can manage
The public waitlist page is for viewing and removing the guest's own entries. It is not a manual booking override tool.
Typical information includes:
- the slot or time range they are waiting for
- current status
- the ability to remove themselves from the queue
Important qualifier
Joining the waitlist does not guarantee that the slot will become available or that the guest will automatically receive the slot immediately.
